Pink & Pearls Purse Collection

Pink & Pearls

It cannot cripple LOVE.

It cannot shatter FAITH.

It cannot corrode HOPE.

It cannot destroy PEACE.

It cannot kill FRIENDSHIP.

It cannot suppress MEMORIES.

It cannot silence COURAGE.

It cannot conquer the SPIRIT.

It cannot steal ETERNAL LIFE.

Pink & Pearls is a local faith-based Breast Cancer Foundation, started in 2010 as an outreach for breast cancer survivors and/or women currently fighting the disease. Each October a woman is chosen from the Richmond area that is fighting breast cancer, going through chemo, or burdened with Medical bills. Your credit union along with  Winn’s Baptist Church will collect gently used purses from now thru Monday, October 1. These items will be sold with all proceeds going to the Cori Ferguson, the 2018 Pink & Pearls Recipient, to help offset medical expenses. If you have any gently used purses you would like to donate, please drop them off on Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5:30 PM at our office or Winn’s Baptist Church on Sundays between 9am to 12pm.

Breast cancer is a cause that Entrust is especially passionate about. Our former CEO, Susan Adams, was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2011. She passed away in April 2013. Susan was an amazing leader of the credit union with such a servant heart. We honor her and all who are battling cancer by supporting the good work of Pink & Pearls.

“ In the time I have spent with this foundation and these ladies, I have met people with whom I’ve had convesations that will forever sit on my heart and many that filled me with courage when I didn’t have it” – Cori Ferguson- Breast Cancer SURVIVOR
